Dr. Hysem Eldik

Dr. Hysem Eldik, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist who earned his medical degree and completed his dermatology residency at Duke University. In 2021, he joined Mount Sinai as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology, where he has been involved in both clinical care and academics.

Dr. Eldik treats a broad range of conditions, including skin cancer detection and treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, hyperhidrosis, melasma, contact dermatitis, and nail disorders. He is also experienced in cosmetic dermatology, including injectable fillers and neuromodulators, as well as advanced laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, sun damage and uneven pigmentation, vascular conditions such as rosacea, facial capillaries, hemangiomas, and stretch marks, and laser hair removal. He is known for achieving natural-looking results through thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Eldik has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals, conducted both basic science and clinical research, and received numerous academic honors and scholarships. He is currently co-authoring a textbook chapter on the clinical application of neuromodulators for the lower face. Dr. Eldik is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He welcomes all patients and is recognized for his attentive, patient-centered approach to care.
