Want to get rid of facial redness, spider veins, or broken blood vessels?

The VBeam pulsed dye laser is the gold standard for treating these conditions. This laser produces an intense burst of light of a specific wavelength to selectively target the blood vessels without damaging the surrounding skin. Each treatment is customized to give the best results for your particular skin issue. Because a blast of chilled air accompanies each pulse of the laser, most patients barely feel it. While bruising can be seen after certain VBeam sessions, in general, there is very little redness seen after the first day. Some patients describe a mild stinging sensation afterward, but it does not limit their activities. We recommend gentle cleansers and avoidance of harsh products for a few days, but wearing makeup is fine after VBeam treatment. Several treatment sessions are needed to treat most conditions, but your dermatologist will discuss what to expect when you come for a consultation.

Another handy use for the VBeam laser is in treating bruises that occur after filler injections or any other injury to the skin. Bruises disappear quickly with a few zaps of the VBeam, which frees our patients up to resume normal activities much quicker than before.
