Catherine Motosko

Catherine Motosko, MD, FAAD, is a double-board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgeon in New York City. Dr. Motosko graduated from Duke University with a degree in biology and chemistry. She earned her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine. After an internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, she completed her dermatology residency at the University of Miami.

Furthering her expertise, Dr. Motosko pursued a prestigious fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic oncology, and reconstructive surgery in Pittsburgh, PA, under the direction of John Zitelli, MD and David Brodland, MD.

Dr. Motosko has an extensive academic background, having authored over 35 PubMed-indexed scientific journal articles and several textbook chapters. She is a sought-after speaker, frequently lectures at local, regional, and national academic conferences.

She is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons. Additionally, she serves on the Advisory Board Executive Committee and SkinPAC Board of Advisors for the American Academy of Dermatology and is a former member of the Board of the Directors of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Motosko enjoys marathon training, listening to podcasts, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
